Valley Smile Plan
The Valley Smile Plan is NOT dental insurance, it is an in-house discount plan that provides coverage to those without traditional insurance.
Our Valley Smile Plan works similar to an annual membership. The patient will arrange a monthly set amount (depending on what type of coverage you select) to be automatically deducted from their credit or debit card. We offer plans for single-person coverage, couples, and families. You can also choose to pay yearly if you don't feel comfortable leaving your card information with our practice. Your discount plan will be effective as soon as you’ve signed up and discounts for covered services will be applied that day. Our office administers the Valley Smile Plan, so any questions can be directed straight to us. There are no claim forms to file, no calling insurance companies and spending hours on hold; everything is taken care of directly by our staff. There are also no age restrictions on many services that are commonly not covered by traditional insurance due to age limitations. We will touch base with you after your one year to terminate or renew your discount plan.

Do I have to provide a credit or debit card?
Yes, we will need your card information to be able to do monthly withdrawals, unless you pay for the full year in advance.
Is my monthly auto-pay applied towards anything else?
No, the monthly withdrawals only pay for your plan premium, NOT your account balance.
Is the plan offered on a month-to-month basis?
No, you are required to have the plan for a FULL year and can terminate or renew at that time.
Can I also have a standard insurance plan or insurance through my employer?
No, you CANNOT be insured AND have the Valley Smile Plan. Our discount plan is for those without insurance.
How will I know when it’s time to renew my plan?
You will receive a yearly reminder notice that your plan is expiring. If you are on auto-pay, your plan will automatically renew for your convenience, unless you contact our office to terminate.
How do I get the most out of my discount plan?
Be sure to stay on top of scheduling your regular visits to get the most out of your money. Preventative and diagnostic services are 100% covered, so you have no out-of-pocket expense!
Can I use the Valley Smile Plan at other offices, or take it with me if I move?
No, the Valley Smile Plan can only be utilized at McLouth Family Dental, Valley Falls Family Dentistry, and Tonganoxie Family Dentistry locations.
